Design Forum 279 - Pivot Point International Cosmetology School

In DF279 I had returned to the lead design role. The art director had developed a concept dealing with light and dark. Driven by fashion trend, this esthetic direction promoted strong contrasts that we wanted to emphasize in design. We developed a highly conceptual “flip-book" coffee table piece. Two front covers that both read from the outside towards the center of the book where the core educational materials were housed.

Due to the huge success of my recent years releases, we were given quite a bit of flexibility on budget. So we went the extra mile adding a semi-opaque spot varnish through the piece. This was a pleasure to work on.
